Theresa T. Egler, MPT

Theresa Egler, MPT/Owner

A background in dance and competitive gymnastics cultivated Theresa Egler's passion for sports medicine. At the age of 13, she knew she wanted to become a physical therapist and help injured athletes. She graduated Cum Laude honors from Chapman University in 1996 with a B.S. in Movement and Exercise Physiology. In 1999, she received a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from Western University of Health Sciences, Pomona. Her post-graduate education includes Pilates instructor training and advanced study of the shoulder, pelvis and knee.

Theresa has lectured on Pilates-based rehabilitation to orthopedic surgeons and published an article called “Prevention of Injuries in Pilates.” After working as the director of four physical therapy clinics, she opened her private practice, Motion Pros Physical Therapy & Pilates.

Carla is a licensed massage therapist and graduate from Clarita Career College. She specializes in:

Due to her experience working in spas as well as in clinical settings, she is able to adapt her massage techniques according to her client's needs. She has worked with clients with diverse diagnoses such as: motor vehicle accident related whiplash, MS, fibromyalgia, scoliosis, back & neck pain, chronic & acute stress, muscles sprains, spinal fusion, sports injuries and cancer.
